The first thing to do is take all of your personal items out of the vehicle. Take off the license plates. Than find a junk yard, scrap yard, or recycling center in your area. You can find these places by looking in the yellow pages or do a search on the internet. It is important before you sell the vehicle that you have the title. Bring the title in with you when you go to the recycling center or such so they can buy the car from you and fill out the title at that time. It’s best if you don’t fill out anything on the title before you come in so they can make sure it’s completed properly. Most places offer towing if the automobile is inoperable or not drivable.  Than you can go there with the title and get paid at that time. Selling prices are always negotiable so don’t just take the first offer they give you. Your old junker can sometimes be worth a lot more than you think! If in doubt call a few different places to compare what they will pay for it. Sometimes you can find a big difference in price depending on if they are in a buying surplus or not.
